This took a long time to post, since I was waiting for my Steam page to be approved!


Changelog:


fixed sprite errors on a particular boss fight

gave a certain boss knockback against crows when in knockback state

added spike collisions to enemies

Blind Knights can be blocked to turn around

Fixed an issue with a player ability crashing the game when used on a boss

Fixed an issue with the game resetting unlocked abilities on startup

tweaked the player's crouching hitbox with their sword

added the ability to press up to advance dialogue

fixed an oversight where the player could block or use an ability during dialogue

(in progress) tying dialogue to the attack key, particularly entering dialogue

added cat

added crates as a physics object

fixed a very strange bug where the player wouldn't spawn at the proper location when continuing a save file

fixed a bug where Sesemat's mana restoration building restored health instead

fixed a bug where paying for entrance to a restoration house with max hp/mana just took your Motes.

Made an enemy more aggressive.

Fixed an enemy's defeat animation to play more than one frame.

Fixed a bunch of room's death screens not displaying quite right.

Made absolutely sure the player couldn't softlock in a particular room.

The fortress boss now appears above certain elements.

The player's palette was tweaked in the fortress to stand out against the background a little more.
